If that was true, then we're still waiting for both conference semifinals to start -- the home teams have won every game so far. Just a weird axiom that has crept into NBA-speak that boggles the mind when you actually think about it."

It seems that this year especially that the home team has the advantage similar to home court advantage in college hoops.
