as much as i hate eli, i'll have to give him props for putting together a solid run ala keith foulke in the 2004 postseason. i think the comparison to foulke will prove to be true years from now as eli continues to be an average QB and likely won't top what he's done this season.

Most Super Bowls have "signature" moments."

The one from this Super Bowl was on the Giants final offensive series. Manning somehow avoids a sack...escapes from the pocket...and slings it downfield where somehow Tyree is able to come down with it with one hand, with Harrison draped all over him.

That play very easily could have been a sack or interception.

Instead, it's the signature play that most people are going to remember about this Super Bowl.

Like I told you when I texted you last night, I can't hate the Mannings. In successive seasons, each of them had an important hand in ending the Pats' season pre-maturely-- a team I thoroughly despise as much as the Yankees.

In the meantime, G-men need to find a way to schedule every game on the road next season...

i concur on the signature moment. immediately after the play i told everyone in the room, "that just won the giants a super bowl."
