lavinius vs. cooch: head-to-head matchup #3 this season

FFL Playoffs, Round 2: Cooch beats Lavinius comfortably. Romo, who Cooch traded to Lavinius several weeks ago, puts up 3 points and pulls down Lavinius' squad with him. Cooch advances to the Championship game, facing a 5-8 team (Team Cherry), who pulled an even greater upset (ala Joe Namath) against the Tainted Taints.

Want to add that Cooch, who more or less threw in the towel on this fantasy league due to poor participation, is a 4 point underdog to the 5-8 team he's playing for the "championship."

If anything, my "consolation" match-up with Taint is a more accurate indicator in determining the league's best team. Cooch vs. a 5-8 team named after a fruit? The fu*k is that?! :)

All I'm hearing is sour grapes!!! :)

Cooch is a 4-pt. dog, but is still projected to score 150+ points... I can't help that Lavinius played Selvin Young instead of Laurence Maroney last week... T'ain't my fault!!!!

An entire body of work wiped away due to one bad week. Apocraphyl I tell you! Apocraphyl!

In hindsight I should have played Maroney, but what had he done this year up to that point? He'd done nothing but drop a deuce down the neck of his fantasy owners.

If you want to point to mismanagement, it's adding Aaron Stecker for Young, putting Stecker in my flex spot, only to drop Stecker again for Young. Stecker ended up getting 25 or 26 points.

Once I added Young back, it came down to not Maroney and Young for flex duties, but Gonzalez and Young. Upon seeking the advise of a knowledgeable football buddy, he suggested I go with Gonzalez. That was clearly the right move in hindsight, but even with his pointage I still come up short.

I lost because of two humans: Anthony Romo and Jessica Simpson. I thought dude was above being pussy-whipped. But with this incident bearing similar fruit to the Underwood escapades of last season, Romo's gotta stop inviting hobags into luxury boxes to watch him play.

But I digress. You're not gonna win too many playoff games when your QB produces 3 points. Here's hoping Romo leaves the bitch at home for these final two weeks so I can take down the evil Tainted Taints regime and claim a share of the title! :)

If Romo had played an average game, the Maroney baloney would be more glaring, but Romo went AWOL... Don't beat yourself up, Lavinius, you did lose to a quality team!!! I get bragging rights for at least another year... :)
