interestingly enough, that's also remlinger's waistline, in inches!
Ironically enough, his previous ERA of infinity also represents the number of grey hairs Remlinger has on his chin.
with a solid performance last night (5 ERs in 2.0 IP), his ERA only jumped from 20.25 to 21.21... another solid moneyball acquisition by the sox...
with a quality outing (1/3 inning of shutout ball! BWAHAHAH), remlinger's era has dropped to 19.80...
What does it say about greybeard when Francona would rather pitch a gassed Timlin in the 9th yesterday over a well-rested Remlinger?
Why even tie up a roster spot with him? Are Delcarmen and/or Hansen not upgrades?
francona's a genius! with another stellar outing from remlinger last night (1.0 IP, 1 hit, 0 ER) against the kansas shitty royals, remlinger's era is now a respectable 16.50...

p.s. lav, why didn't we go to kansas city during our midwest trip since we were in neighboring st. louis?
The same reason why two people on a west coast swing wouldn't visit San Francisco if they were in neighboring LA...
why release rem-dinger now? he's had 3 consecutive scoreless outings over 3.0 innings... he's reduced his era from 54.00 to a miniscule 14.85 since pitching for the sox...

Good riddance, greybeard. If Sox Nation is gonna be subjected to watching pitchers get their teeth kicked in, I'd rather it be a young guy who at least has a chance to develop into something.
