Buster Olney reported it was down to the Sox and Nats. That's like choosing between filet mignon and filet of dog shit.
But the Sox and Angels? He'll have a chance to win in both places. Money is similar. So what's the determining factor? Family on the east coast (Baltimore). Advantage, Boston.

Welcome back, Lavinius! (I've seen more posts in a broken down fence!)
I concur w/ your Teixeieiixiseiwera thoughts. Bring that MF here!
looks like the angels have an 8-year $160mn+ deal on the table. would be hard for the sox to beat...
That levels the playing field then.

cooch rethinks his stance... not really liking an 8-year deal, especially with lars andersen a year or two away from the bigs.
spend the cash on pitching and solidifying the other positions and use some of that cash in the future to add pitching/fill others holes.
gm cooch withdraws his offer.
