That levels the playing field then.
Buster Olney reported it was down to the Sox and Nats. That's like choosing between filet mignon and filet of dog shit.
But the Sox and Angels? He'll have a chance to win in both places. Money is similar. So what's the determining factor? Family on the east coast (Baltimore). Advantage, Boston.

spend the cash on pitching and solidifying the other positions and use some of that cash in the future to add pitching/fill others holes.
